More snow pics

On average we get about 2 inches of snow each year. These last 2 weeks we have had close to 2 feet! Our city doesn't even own a snow plow so this is what our roads looked like for over a week.

Better late than never

Andrew finally got his Christmas presents yesterday. His two wonderful Grandparents got him an exersaucer and a bumbo chair. We got them off of Craig's list but weren't able to go pick them up until yesterday because of the snow. Andrew was very understanding and is having a whole lot of fun now!
He also just discovered the little friend in the mirror on his floor gym. It has been a big week!

Clear, quiet morning after the storm...

Last night we got more snow and this morning could not have been more beautiful...

The latest and greatest

  • ANDREW IS SLEEPING IN HIS CRIB!!! (we are proud of him and REALLY proud of ourselves)

  • I got bangs and I love them. This is the lowest maintenance haircut I've ever had.

  • I've been getting some photography jobs and learning a ton each time I shoot.

  • My friend Brittany and I spent the whole afternoon yesterday making Santa cookies (a Pothier family tradition). She's fun.

  • We got hit with a HUGE snow storm. The Portland area doesn't know how to handle the snow except to close down EVERYTHING!
  • With school being cancelled, we've had time to make real snow cones...

  • Followed by hot chocolate, sugar cookies, and a fire.

  • During the first night of snow and ice, Dan's friends Abraham and Solomon came to the door, asking "can Dan come out and play?" They spent the next half hour trying to stay on their bikes.
  • Left our Christmas shopping until the last minute and now we can't get anywhere with this snow. But it's okay because we're broke and we weren't going to buy presents anyway:)

  • MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

This is my idea of a good time!!

Oh the fun one can have with a new lens, an old barn, and some spunky 16 year olds. I stayed up way too late last night playing with these on my computer. I have too many favorites so I'll just post a whole bunch of them. ENJOY!
I know, creepy. But then look how sweet...

What? You want more of Andrew... OKAY!

This little one was the biggest champ on the airplane to and from AZ for Thanksgiving. A serious Angel. Sleeping while in AZ on the other hand, what a mess. Unfortunately our son is highly dependent on his aquarium swing and yoga ball (we sit and bounce on it to get him to sleep). We now own TWO aquarium swings, one here in OR and another now in AZ. We must have looked ridiculous packing around these two oversized baby items everywhere we went. Rookie parents.

Our goal now is to free him from these attatchments before our trip to see my parents in Rexburg in January. Wish me luck!
Now for some adorable pics of our fantastic little boy.

Thanksgiving pics coming soon...
