Halloween Party 2010

Dan's sister hosted a super fun Halloween party on Saturday for all the kiddos. Andrew was Nacho Libre and Jimmy was supposed to be Jimmy Neutron (pics taken from my phone). Then on Halloween night I dressed up like a chef and he was my bag of sugar. I made their costumes with some help from family (thanks Judy and Camie). There were a few wardrobe malfunctions but what can you expect from a rookie. I got such a kick out of Andrew dancing that night. There are a couple of videos posted below of him getting jiggy. Oh man I love that kid.

Looking back on the weekend I realize it was a little too much to take on by myself (Dan had another homeshow this weekend, he had one last weekend too. Back to back weekends kill me). Trying to do anything more than just take care of my kids these days just results in me loosing it. Makes me sad that I can't manage more than the basics but that's just reality for me right now.

 I guess what I'm really saying is.....I'm exhausted, GOODNIGHT!!!

Late summer fun!

A good friend of mine lives out in the country, which is only about a 5 minute drive from our home. Her daughters are some of my favorite babysitters! Andrew and Jimmy usually go over to their house (because it's SO much more fun) when they tend. It's a treat whenever I get a chance to go to their home. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the lighting is always so pretty, especially through the summer.

A few weeks back my friend and I played around with our cameras in the hay field across the street from her home. Her 5 beautiful kids were our models...and Andrew got in on a few, couldn't resist this cute face!

 The fun also involved running and jumping through the hay.

 And then it turned into this....

 The hay looks a lot softer than it actually was, but they all didn't seem to notice a bit.

Oh, and Jimmy decided to have his own kind of fun inside...
